Hi,

Yola makes it easy for you to wrap text around your picture! The key here is to make sure to add the the text below your picture. Here are the steps:

1. Add picture
2. Add text (text needs to be below the image)
3. Highlight picture
4. Choose text wrap option from the Edit Toolbar

or

1. Add text
2. Add picture above the text
3. Highlight picture
4. Choose text wrap option from the Edit Toolbar

Hi

I also want to wrap text around a picture and at the risk of sounding like a complete idiot I don't really understand the answer! I understand text boxes and how to insert images etc but I dont see any "Edit Toolbar" and no option to wrap the text. Where do I find this toolbar?

Thanks

Hi Kenny,

First nobody here in the Yola forum will brand you a fool, idiot or anything along those lines.
We're kind, I promise.

Now to answer your question.
When you are editing text a toolbar should appear under the big blue bar.
Heres a picture.

When you click the image in your text widget the toolbar should change to this.

Can you see the alignment and warp tools that appear on the end.

Hope this helps.

Hi John

thank you for your excellent answer! I can see the problem now ......... I don't have those buttons! Any idea why not? I'm at a total loss to understand why i wouldn't have them.

Thanks

Hi Kenny,

Those 3 buttons at the end only appear when you add and click on an image.

You should have the rest of the tool bar there when you click in the text box.

Click the button below to add an image then click on that image and you will see the 3 align buttons appear.

To John and Duke... since this is four years old I don't hold out a lot of hope for getting a response.... but here goes.
You give PERFECT advice on how to wrap text above...
However in the last few weeks YOLA has added a new version of the "text" widget (and also still has the old one)
NEITHER widget gives the option now to be able to wrap text. A section does not open up so give you the option of how you want to justify it.
Can you be of any help, or point me to someone that can.??
