Hello ami,

What is happening with your first domain name and it showing your old index page, this is because the last time your site was indexed this was what was contained in the pages.

When a search engine indexes a site, it makes a copy of the page as it is and puts it in its index. If you have changed your pages in any way (such as the title tag that displays in the search engine results pages ie Portfolio) it will just take some time for the search engine to respider your site, see something is different, drop the old page out of its index, and reindex the new page. It will just take a bit of time.

With the second site this site hasn't been indexed by Yahoo yet and that is why you are receiving the message that it doesn't exist.

We have a tutorial for verifying your site with Google Webmaster and submitting a sitemap that you should use as it is important that you use our instructions: Google Webmaster Tutorial.

Yahoo doesn't have this same type of feature, but you can submit your url to them at this link Submit url to Yahoo. You don't need to submit the first url because that site is all ready indexed, but you can with the second.

Hope this helps!
