Hi Nicole,

Currently we will not automatically renew your subscription after the first year. If you wish to continue your service with Yola after the first year we will send you renewal reminders and you can select to renew your existing package or select a different one.

I hope this helps. Please let me know if I have misunderstood your question.

Can I cancel my registration altogether as the site is absolutely crap for the purposes I need, therefore I won't be using it and I certainly don't want to be charged £18.82 next years for something I don't use!

No good to me.

Have you tried changing the style? It is very easy to do. Take a look at the first link below to see how. If that doesn't help, then you can delete your whole account by following the instructions with the second link.

Another thing I suggest is that you rebuild your site from the start, which will give you a second chance with the content, the codes, and the styles I did it to my site, and now it looks great.

You could also get a member of the Yola Expert Community to make your site for you.

I hope that this helps you sort out your problems with your site.

Further to my reply above, if you wish to cancel your account entirely, you are welcome to do so, please follow the steps here: Delete your account.

Just keep in mind if you delete your account you will lose access to the DNS settings for the free domain name you registered which is yours regardless of your decision to continue on with your Yola account.

If there is anything we can do to assist you further please do not hesitate to let us know.

Hi David,
The £4.99 cost for Yola Silver is for people who are participating in the GBBO program (Get British Business Online). It is available for 30 days after one signs up for the program. If you have any further questions please let us know.

Kind Regards,
Emmy

Thanks Emmy
I have a site on a free account and a custom domain registered elsewhere, if I signed up to the GBBO program could I transfer my existing site over to that account. I have a purchased style in my free account what would happen to that?

Hi David,

Unfortunately you are not able to combine existing accounts with the GBBO program, so you would effectively have to start from scratch. You would however be able to point your external domain to your GBBO Yola account and if you upgraded to Yola Silver you would have access to all of our current Premium Styles.

I don't know where i am supposed to comment but NO, I do not wish to continue with as the site is absolutely crap for the purposes I need, therefore I won't be using it and I certainly don't want to be charged £18.82 next years for something I don't use!

Hi Phil,

I provided you with the steps you need to take to cancel your account above, but I am happy to provide them again here: Delete your Yola account. For security purposes we require you to delete the account yourself.
