My website has many pages already and will only get more. It is used to answer questions. The URL is http://thecheatsheet.synthasite.com. what I want to know is if there is a way to have the pages sorted by folders (like on a computer desktop) and by rather they're in the menue or not. If so, how? Thanks in advance.

Hello Derrick,
If you are wanting to separate your pages in the site builder in this manner unfortunately that isn't possible at this time. There are two different places to view the pages on your site, the Site Manager tab which will list all of the pages in alphabetical order, and the Edit Menu which will show which pages are in the menu and which pages are out of the menu; so in a way that is one separation you were looking for.

I can see how it would be a useful feature to be able to better separate pages into various folders when there are a large number of them.

Please let me know if this does not answer your question.

Kind Regards,
Emmy

Hi Derrick,

Are you wanting the 'folder-look' on your published site, where the folders are actually menu tabs that people can click on?

You can do this by removing the pages from your visible menu, adding images to the page and linking them to pages.

Here's how to remove pages from your menu:
1. Click on the "Edit Menu" button on the top toolbar.
2. A dialog box will open and you will see the list of your pages in the left-hand pane under "in the menu".
3. Click on the page you would like to move and drag-and-drop it to the right pane under "out the menu".

We have more info on adding links to images on this link: http://www.yola.com/customer-support/...

I hope that helps, let us know if you need any other help.

Marije or Emmy - i have over 250 pages now, my question is, is it a problem for search engines to have x amount of pages in the same folder? should i worry about having any kind of (HARD TO EXPLAIN) tree structure - i.e. is 1 page linked to another once, 10 times, then a page of 100 links bad? would the engine follow the 10 pages of links and get to the final 100?

I hope you can depict this messy question and understand what im asking

Hey Duke/Lee

Search engines love lots of pages, Search engine crawlers are found to index sites with a lot of content. Hyper linking page are a bigger improvement.. Don't worry about it, thats GREAT!!!
