Hi mml177,

You can certainly include OpenCart in your Yola site if they provide you with HTML code that you can add on your site via the HTML Widget to direct visitors to the OpenCart payments page.

However, it is not possible to incorporate software that requires a database into your Yola site, as Yola does not offer MySQL or database functionality.

We have a tutorial that explains how to create an online store using the Ecommerce feature on Yola. Here is the link: http://www.yola.com/tutorials/article....

Hope this helps!

So I would need a separate server (FTP) with database support

Hello ilkestonewebdesign

If a third-party provider gives you some code to embed into your website, it usually means that your data will be stored with them on their servers. Yola doesn't offer FTP. You'd need to contact OpenCart support to find out more.

Requirements for Open Cart.

Web Server (preferably Apache)
PHP (at least 5.2)
MySQL
Curl

These are not accessible with Yola so you will need to source these independently.
