Yola Credit Question

Why does the Yola credit have to have the "free" in there? Why can't it just say "Make a website with Yola"? I don't mind having the credit on my pages, I just don't want the "free". Before this latest upgrade there were templates that said "Make a website with Yola" on them. I'd like to keep that instead.

Hi MKB,

Think of it this way. If you were a visitor on your webpage and saw 'Make a FREE website with Yola' you would be more likely to click on it then if it said 'Make a website with Yola'. It's human nature for us to want something more if it's free! It's just good business thinking on Yola's end.

You may want to consider using the footer removal option provided with a fee. Here's a great tutorial on how to do this: http://www.yola.com/customer-support/...

Oh, forgot about that! Still trying to get used to the update. I was just thinking earlier, 'ah damn now I'm gonna have to change the banner and background on all my pages...30 minutes later..ah done,.......crap!!'...I was not happy.:)

The new update does take some getting used to since we were so familiar with the old one. We have to reprogram our thinking now! =) Umm.. could you not have used the "apply to all pages" for your banner and background? I guess you forgot about that new function too, eh?!

I know thats what I mean! After changing all the banners and backgrounds manually I realized that I could have just used the apply to all pages button!.:)
