It appears that yola.com is down as I've been trying for 10 minutes with the "failed to open page" message on my safari. All other pages, including my website on yola, are loading. Please advise. Need to update ASAP!

Hello Amy,

I have just checked a few of my sites in the sitebuilder and they are able to be opened.

Suggest that you try clearing your browser cache and retry opening your site.

I can open my site as a user on www.runaway-moms.com but am unable to open www.yola.com to sign in to edit my site. Yola is up and running?

Hmmm. Just cleared cache and tried on my iPad too with no luck. Anyone else down with yola? All other sites that I am accessing in safari are loading properly.

Yola loads fine for me, and I was able to edit my site, so this is very odd.

I am working through Safari and it has always loaded just fine. Happy to know I'm not the only one with the issue, but unhappy that this is stumping tech support :/ Really need to update my site. My customers depend on it on Sunday nights.

No matter if I use Safari on my iPhone/iPad, Firefox, or IE on my PC, Yola.com will not load for me. :(

Safari is working OK with the sitebuilder.

Wondering if it's a regional issue. You may like to try a ping or tracert on yola.com from your location. That may tell you if there's a holdup enroute to their servers.

Did you try clearing your safari cache?

I've cleared my cache twice and reset my computer. Have tried on all of my computers here and they all are macs and operate on safari. When I did a trace route, here is the result. It certainly is "timing out". Please please advise. I really need to get in to edit my site.

Hi Ami,

It looks as if the route to the Yola servers is down so for this time is inaccessible from where you are.

You may try calling your ISP and ask if they have any suggestion or solution.

It seems as if Comcast are having extensive outage issues currently
"Recent reports mostly originate from: Fort Lauderdale, Hollywood, Pompano Beach, New York, Stockton, Winter Garden, Chicago, Hallandale, Philadelphia, and Miami."

The last non-timeout: 96.120.16.57 is a Comcast IP address. So I ran a search for issues associated with Comcast

I'm, fortunately, having no issues in Asia.

Thanks Gop. It does appear to be regional. If any affected person could share their location and ISP that would be helpful.

I am having the same issue right now and I tried 3 different browsers and 3 devices and YOLA is still down.....can this please be fixed. By looking at this post it appears many people are having the same issue so that indicates it is on YOLA's end and not our computers or ISP.

It is very possible that this is an issue on our end. We are investigating this possibility. However, the people having the problem may have something in common regarding their location or ISP so if we can get that info to either confirm or refute this possibility that would assist us. Our staff in South Africa are having no difficulty accessing Yola or logging into accounts. Everyone reporting it so far who has shared their ISP with us us with Comcast, so we are wondering if it could be related to the outage Gop mentioned above.

Hi All

We are investigating this problem. I am unable to replicate at this time but as soon as we have any additional information we will update you.

If you are affected please let us know your location and ISP as this will assist us in determining whether it is a regional issue.

This does appear to be related to an outage Comcast is experiencing. When we run a traceroute from the Comcast network it does not reach Yola.com

Some of our staff who are on Comcast are able to replicate, but when they switch to a different ISP everything loads without any problem.

If you are experiencing this issue and are with Comcast or a related ISP (eg Xfinity) please try another ISP for comparison if possible and let us know if the problem persists. If not then you will need to wait for Comcast to resolve the issue on their end.

I fully believe it is a comcast problem. I've seen comcast block entire groups of email recipients on an important email from Disney. I really was hoping it was a yola problem and not comcast because if it is up to Comcast it will involve days of them pointing their fingers at others and running in circles to say they are sorry but nothing they can do. Sigh. That is my consistent experience with them whenever there is an issue. I really prefer relying on anyone else. Thank you Yola for responding and please continue to contact then on our behalf. I don't have the patience for their version of customer service.

How can Comcast ISP only effect the YOLA site and not all others? The only site that is not opening is YOLA. That seems odd.

In that case you need to contact them or switch to a different network if you have access to one. We cannot see any issues on our end and we are able to load Yola.com and log in without any difficulty on ISPs other than Comcast. We will continue to monitor and investigate, however, all the information we have at this stage points to Comcast as being the common factor in everyone experiencing the issue. In addition a traceroute confirms that there is an issue on their end. It is possible for an ISP outage to affect some sites and not others and that seems to be what is happening here. I understand the urgency but there is nothing we can do to assist on our end at this time.

It's another day and YOLA still not working....I still can not understand why only YOLA is effected, and I shouldnt have to switch ISP companies just because one site doesnt work and everything else does? This issue seems to effect so many people, their must be a problem that is being overlooked. If Comcast is the issue then YOLA should contact them because it is YOLA customers that are being effected? If it seems to be a connection problem to the YOLA servers. Because all other websites have no problem. Calling Comcast will not solve the issue because they will find no problem especially if only one website is effected. They will only tell us to contact YOLA. I have been through this before. Please keep researching this issue....

Hi, I have the same issue. Yola website doesn't load. I have opened orders that I need to take care of (mark as shipped, process, see additional information etc).

Two days earlier I reported another issue with my online store, I kept getting a message "There were too many redirects". So I haven't been able to visit my online store since Saturday morning.

It can't be an issue with Comcast because all other websites work just fine. If I call Comcast what you want me to tell them exactly?

Any updates?? I really need to get into my site - and haven't been able to do so. I know I'm not the only one annoyed by this, but if I can't get in, I'm not sure what to do? Switching service providers doesn't seem like a reasonable solution to me.

I have had partial outages with my ISP - TWC, and my sister in New Engladn just switched from Comcast because she was plagued with outages, and needed a reliable connection for her work.
If you do some research on this you will see that it is possible for ISPs to have partial outages, possibly with the provider not being able to provide enough bandwidth to prevent timeouts, or they might not being able to resolve certain dns requests. Try using the ip address instead of yola.com to see if that helps:

Hey everyone,
We do understand how frustrating this is. We are in communication with Comcast/Xfinity to resolve the issue as we speak.

What we would like you to do if you could is leave a message for Comcast/Xfinity on Facebook and Twitter to let them know the issue you are experiencing while we work to get this resolved with them.

Comcast Twitter

XFinity Facebook

Again, we know this is frustrating and we're working to get it resolved as quickly as possible.

Thanks,
Emmy

I encourage, everyone who is having an issue accessing Yola.com and who are using comcast as their internet service provider, to call Comcast and let them know. Ask them to try to log into Yola.com then they will know for sure it is them and not your computer.
