Unhappy with price increase

Yola is adding more and more negative things to yola bronze to get them to spend 100 dollars on yola silver, when all they want is to get rid of something that makes their site look spammy, poor quality and unprofessional. It is, in my mind, extortion. I remember when yola was amazing. I get that yola needs to make money, but is making people's website look rubbish until the spend what is, a ridiculous amount of money, so they can look a bit better, the right way to go? I think that paying to have something added is fair enough. But paying to have something taken away? That is a step too far. It is extremely unprofessional of Yola, and to me, a seasoned user of Yola, an extreme let down. I personally have stopped recommending Yola,as it is, for new users, no longer the best free web host around

Hi Will,

Sorry you feel this way. It's such a shame that you have stopped thinking of Yola as a great company.
Yola has recentley improved their services and added a large amount of security features. In the current economic climate tough business decisions need to be made, some which will not be welcomed with open arms have to be made to ensure a stable future for Yola.

Sadly these things happen for a reason and more than likely will continue to happen in the future, not just at Yola but at companys all across the globe.

Sorry that this is how you feel. I hope you decided to stick with Yola through the tough times.

I get that it is all improved, but why make it so that people need to pay for lots of services they don't need, and let people pay for certain Yola Silver features? I know for a fact that Yola would make more money, as I would buy quite a few features, but I know that it wouldn't be enough to make the whole package value for money.

Something like this wouldn't be too hard to impliment, and would make the website building lives of so many people easier and cheaper, whilst still allowing Yola to keep value for money, and make a l

Laura,that is what I was also advised. Think Yola should defin think on this 'swiftly' as believe you will be losing a few customers - which would be such a shame as you are all so lovely and what is offered is great (altho having to buy the Silver!).
