Hello,
I recently started using Yola for two of my sites and when setting up email i decided to use Yola email for one of them. Setup was easy and everything is fine when using webmail. Though when i configure it through my blackberry phone/tablet the calendar wont sync. When i create appointments on the webmail it wont carry over to my devices and when i create appointments via devices it doesnt sync back to webmail. I dont use outlook or an email program so i dont know if that works or not.

Is it possible to get the calendars to sync to my devices? Syncing emails worked like a charm.

Thank You,

Hi Steve,

I am not sure if there is extra set up involved or if this is possible so I am consulting with a colleague who I hope can assist us.

Hello Steve,

Thank you for your patience while we looked into this. Yola Mail does not currently have an automatic sync utility available, however there is an export option which can be used that allows you to download any calendars in Yola Mail as a .ICS or ICAL file to your desktop. You can then import the file to your desired device.

Here are the steps to exporting your Yola Mail calendar:

- Click one of the calendar views listed in the components list: Day View, Week View, Month View, or Agenda View.
- Click Manage Calendars.
- The Manage Calendars window appears.
- Click the iCal icon beside the file that you want to export.
- Save the file.
- The calendar is saved with a .ics extension.

I hope this information is helpful.
