Hello jill,

The first recommendation for this problem is to clear your browser cache. It works a lot of the time.

That's good that you're back in action. You're not the first person who has experienced it and I'm sure there will be many others who will also experience this.

Let the "doh" go!

I see from another thread that you were able to remedy this by switching browsers, I hope it is still working for you.

Kind Regards,

ok, I don't know why this works, but it does (for me). Try this: instead of opening www.yola.com and signing in, try www.synthasite.com. I know it must redirect you to yola, but it works! Whenever I try going straight to yola and signing in, my site home page loads forever and ever. WHen I go to synthasite, it is as per normal. Why? who knows.

I have tried all the checks and suggestions but still no luck so have given up. Think I will start again with a different site builder which is very annoying as I have put a lot of work into this site.

Thanks for posting your URL, however, it doesn't work - can you make sure it's spelled correctly? You can find the link in two places:
1. Click on the "Site Manager" tab, you will see your site name in big blue letters, this is a link to your live site.
2. Click on the down arrow next to the "Update my Site" button and click on "Publishing Settings", your URL will be in dialogue box that opens.

Hi Varun

I am sorry to hear that you are having this problem with your website.

We have checked your DNS (Domain Name Server) records and can see that your A Records (Address Records) are pointing to our old IP Address. You also have A Records which are pointing to blogspot.

To get your site up and running again to your Yola site, you will need to access the DNS Settings in your account with your domain registrar. If you want to point to your Yola site, please remove all the existing A Records and add the A Records to point to our new IP Address, 184.72.229.176. Please be sure to add 2 A Records, WWW and @.

We have an online tutorial on how do it, here: Publish to a domain you already own.

I hope this helps you. If you need more help with it, please let us know. It may be a good idea to send an email to support@yola.com so we can help you in more detail.

Thanks and good luck!

Hello Luis

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We are definitely capable of assisting you with any issues that you face while loading your site in the Sitebuilder. However, if the issue is related to your computer or a program you have installed on your computer, then unfortunately, this is not something we have control over or can fix.

well i mean something can be done about this.. like if the request is for tracking info is being blocked the server should just ignore it and continue.

Hi Luis

I do feel that if you have a blocking program - then this is something that you are going to have to disable or add Yola to your safe list. As we are not getting reports from other users that this is a problem, we most likely will not be able to implement anything at this stage. We will keep our ears open though and keep an eye on this.

Hi Jo,
Me again! Can you give this another try from the browser you were using when the problem occurred. We have been doing some troubleshooting and would like to see if an implementation we made makes any difference for you.

Thanks so much,

Hello everyone,

I am happy to report that the bug you were experiencing has been fixed! If you do still see a problem, clearing your browser's cache will most likely take care of this: clear your cache.

Thank you very much for your patience while we worked on that and please let us know if you have any further troubles.
