when I copy text in from excel, Yola puts the text in a table format, something that I dont want. This is a new feature and its really annoying! I want to be able to just copy the cells into Yola without Yola turning it into a table. Plus, when I copy into Yola, the text is reformatted so that I have to format the text again myself using the tools from Yola. So is there anyway of copying into Yola from excel without it creating a table? and, is there any way of copying in text without it being reformatted? Thank you!!

If you just want to copy data then you are better going through Notepad which will strip the excel format codes from he excel table.

You may still have to reformat it to you preference.

Hi tmaslauskas

Its not a Yola thing, whenever we copy "formatted" text or data from a desktop program and paste these into a text region or form in our web browsers, we lose the associated formatting, because the browser does not share the proprietary libraries employed by the software, in other words the browser does not understand what excel was doing.

Gop rightly suggests pasting first into Notepad, this will remove the "hidden" excel formatting tags, and then pasting into the sitebuilder. Chances are though, you will have to format your text the way you want it.
