Yola Shop Not Working

I have added products to my yola shop but it is still saying I have added no products, means i can't use the shop widget in yola editor???

Hi Jennifer,

When you click on the Online Store in My Yola do you see a list of the added products?

if not then you will need to add them again. It's important to specifically Save after the addition otherwise your products won't be added to your catalogue.

Once that is done then you drag the Online Store widget onto a page. Select the Category of products to display (if in fact you have sub-classified) and select the Style of display for your page. This can be aTable, Grid or List and is selectable from within the widget on the Left Hand side.

I am confident that this will be successful but don't know the reason why it hasn't worked for you as yet. Please let us know if you require some help with this.

i have done all of that, when i exit and open the add shop manager they are there - i have added products, categories, subcategories, images and options - because its saying i have no products added when try to use the widget it says i have to products and to go back and add some. so confused why this isnt working!

It may be that it isn't recognising your store.

Can I suggest that you create a trial page. Pull in the online widget onto the page and see if the products are available there. If this works then I would remove the original Store widget from your original page. Save and then add it again. There have been 2 people report this previously but it came good.

Hello Jennifer

I have checked your account, and I wasn't able to find any products in your Yola Online Store under your Online Store tab on your My Yola dashboard. Your Online Store is completely empty, no products, no payment methods, no shipping details. You will need to provide all that information to set up your Yola Online Store. I have managed to add a test product to your Online Store. You will find it on a test page named "test" I have created on your website (don't worry, you will be able to remove both the test product and the test page yourself at any time). Please check on your side if you can see this test product in the Online Store on the test page. If you cannot see it, please let us know.

Now you will have to add your products, payment and shipping methods. You can do this by going to your My Yola dashboard and clicking on Online Store in the left-hand side menu. You will see a dialgue box providing those three steps. When you click to add something and after having added it, close the dialogue box by clicking on the X in the top right corner. Then follow the further flow on your Online Store page.

You should then be able to see your products on your test page. Once you see them there, you can add the Online Store Widget to your Shop page and delete the test page.

that is strange as i definitaly added stuff - i think there is still a problem, or im doing something wrong. I went through the steps - I added payment options (although when i come out of that it is saying I haven't. I added a few more products, on the shop tab on the dashboard it was still saying only one product but the widget recognised these. I tested this, changing the test product to £1 and went through the process, finalising the sale - worked. I then went to add more products, which I can see when I open the shop manager. Again, the dashboard is saying i still only have one product. This time the widget isnt picking up that there are any new products. I really confused! Please help! I love yola services and will love them even more if I can get this shop to work, its a huge step in our wee business adventure! thanks :)

hmm, its just the widget and dashboard tht seems not to be working - but when i load the actual page they are there

its just magically sorted itself now and everything seems to be working - thanks for all the help :)
