i think if you show themes in categories like "Business" "Fashion" "Health" "Food",
it seem to me better.

We don't have themed styles just yet - at least not enough to create these categories. The purpose of the style guide is simply to show you the attributes of our current style library (which ones allow you to change the background for example). We are going to grow our style library and add themed styles in future. The style guide is just something to help out in the meantime.

Hi Alex,
Can you try clearing your cache and then try to access the style guide: http://www.yola.com/yola-style-guide.

Let us know if you are still having trouble accessing it.

On Emmy's link there was a period at the end which was included in her link. There shouldn't be one! =)

Kershnee,

The Yola style guide is fantastic for helping me to pick a style.

The problem is that to find the name I picked, I have to click on every style offered under the change style Menu.

It would be quite helpful to have the style Name against the template to eliminate this one by one hunt to match a style name.

This seems like such an obvious observation to me, that surely somebody else must have mentioned it before !

Thanks.

Hi Pablo,

If you hover with your mouse over the style thumbnails it will tell you the name of the style and you wont need to click through each one. I'm sorry this wasn't clearer for you.

Hi Ruth

Here's a feature request! I would love to see an option to have a search bar for the templates. This way if someone on the forum is using a particular template, I don't have to scroll to find it. I can just input the name and it'll take me to that template.

Ruth, I am using the HostIP.info Geolocation Add-In.
When I hover on a template, I get a URL, Host website, IP address and server location information.
So I never noticed that the Style Name comes up. Sorry, about that.

I would still request that the names be shown with the templates so that one can flip through the styles without having to hover on each template to figure the name though.
Thanks

Wow, this is nice. Should be on the entry page for when your selecting your theme. Along with a better way to scroll through the theme selections (kind of cumbersome)

Hi Kj. I am glad you like it. We agree that the current style selector is cumbersome and difficult to navigate, so we created the style guide as an interim solution. We are busy with a complete redesign of the style selector as well as a revamp of our style library. Hopefully this will be available in the few weeks' time. In the meantime I hope the style guide can help a few people out!

The idea of a link to the style guide when selecting a theme sounds really good to me.
Is this a fairly simple feature to implement ?
