Help! Domain renewal/ Yola subscription renewal - I recently repsonded to an email stating that my domain name through Yola was about to expire, so I renewed for 2 years. I thought the renewal was for the Yola Silver that included the domain name which is how we were originally set up. But now I just receieved an email stating that my Yola Silver account has been downgraded. (!) I'm really confused. Please help.

Hello bobbyjonesics,

I apologize for the confusion. Your Yola Silver renewal is a separate renewal from your domain renewal. You needed to renew both. You can upgrade your Silver again and then use the domain credit to renew your domain for an additional year or use it towards another domain.

Please let us know if you still have questions about this.

Hello Prinolan

I understand your frustration about being charged for something you didn't want, however, you will find that we are able to respond very effectively if you phrase your question without the use of profanity and personal abuse.

When you purchase a domain with Yola, you agree to being opted into auto-renewal, and this won't be stopped unless you specifically request us to cancel your domain. Before your domain auto-renews, we do send e-mail notifications to inform you about the renewal.

As we cannot process account-related requests on our public Support Forum, you will need to send us your request using our Contact Support Form. Please make sure to use the e-mail address associated with your Yola account, so that we can assist you with this quickly. Thank you.

Should you get an auto-response because your account has been downgraded to the Free status, please let me know your e-mail address you used for your message, and I'll be happy to find and process your e-mail in our system.

The e-mail notification may have ended up in the Spam folders of your e-mail programme. I've managed to locate your e-mail in our system and have directed it to our Payment specialists for further assistance. They will be in touch with you via e-mail.

We were going to renew and get the silver package because one of the email links we were sent said it was offered to us at the reduced price of $29.95 but I just went to purchase the Silver hosting and now its saying it's $99 how to I get back the original offer of $29.95 or was this just a gimmick?

Hello Grootjes Gang

Does the e-mail mention a coupon code? Please try using this code on check-out. If not, can you please forward this e-mail to us to check? support@yola.com. Please make sure to use your login e-mail. If you still have a Yola Free account at the moment, you may get an auto-response saying that support is not available to you. If so, please let me know here, and I'll find your e-mail in our system and take care of it. Thanks.
