Yola Support Series: Setting Up Yola Mail on Your Mobile Device or External Mail Client

It is very convenient to be able to access email on the go, and chances are you will find you need to set up your Yola Mail email on your mobile device or external mail client, such as Outlook or Mac Mail.

The specific steps to doing so varies with every mobile device and mail client, however there are generally a few common steps you need to follow. If you find that you are unable to receive or (more commonly) send emails after setting up Yola Mail externally, you can try the following suggestions to resolve the issue:

- Your username should be your entire Yola Mail email address.

- Your incoming and outgoing mail server settings should always be "mail.yourdomain.com"

- Switch the SMTP port setting to 587 or 8025. Some service providers block the default port (normally port 25) for security reasons.

- Ensure the "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication"/"Password Protection" checkbox is checked.

- Ensure the "SSL Protection" checkbox is unchecked.

If you still have trouble receiving or sending emails, you can try deleting the mail account on your mobile device or mail client, and setting it up anew - this often helps!

i have not been able to access my emails for a month. Anmyone else expereincing the same? i have paid additional money and tried everything. can anyone else shed light on whats happening
