Hello, is there any reason why sites made with Yola don't open in China?

There was another thread very recently about this. Apparently the Chinese government has put restrictions in place to prevent it.

I couldn't find it, but maybe someone else can point you to the thread.

Yeah.
This policy is made by china NIC.

If you have any content to grab from a yolasite , use a proxy.

I DO NOT KNOW WHETHER PROXIES ARE PROHIBITED.

Hello Ernst,

Yes, we have received reports that the Chinese government has blocked all our hosted sites. The error they are seeing is a "network timeout" when they try to access your site. We are not sure why our sites have been blocked, but we know that other similar services (including YouTube and WordPress) have been blocked in the same way.

After making enquiries we are told that we might never get an explanation or a solution. Unfortunately this is all we can tell you.

Kind Regards,
Emmy
