Hey:) Hope you can help me. I filled out your "free website" form, and when you asked me for the name of my business I gave it. A warning that you were going to use that as the domain name would have been nice.

Why would it have been nice?

Because I already have my business name as a .com and .co.uk website hosted with someone else and now it's completely stopped working. My yola account says I have 1 domain, but I can't access it at all, and my existing business website is now completely blank and inaccessible. (Hosted with 123.reg.co.uk if that's any help.)

Give us a clue or sort it out please!

Hi hypnoconomy

When you publish your domain to a Free subdomain, e.g. mybusiness.yolasit.com, it will not affect any custom domains that you have either with Yola or elsewhere.  We would like to understand what the problem is in more detail.  Would you mind sharing your Yola domain and your custom domain with us so that we can take a closer look?

Thank you
Nazlie

Hey. :)

The DNS on my previous sites had been changed to something new (not sure how was that done at your end automatically perhaps?) I've put them back where they were and will be GTG shortly.

As I am now set back where I was originally, I'll be trying someone else to help me with my uncles site. I've no idea what site you were going to give me, because the whole thing crashed out on me - saying for example I have no domains but 1 site. Your system also rejected my credit card but gave me a log in anyway. Seems unstable.

My website is http://www.hypnoconomy.com/ - no idea if that's any use to you.

Have a nice day. If I can help you further feel free to get in touch.

We do not automatically change DNS settings nor do we have access to alter DNS settings for domains not registered through Yola so we really can't advise you on what happened in that regard.

As far as receiving a Yola account even after your credit card verification attempt failed while trying to redeem a free domain through the Get Your Business Online program, that is working as we designed it. This way you can still access your Yola account in the interim and if and when you are ready to try to register your free domain with another card or updated information you can do so from your existing account.

If you want additional help getting started with Yola we're glad to advise you, otherwise we wish you and your uncle the best in your future endeavors.
